112-02-07 Pator RSS Station security alert PDF Print E-mail

Early this morning a security breach at docking ramp VI-061 was detected on the Pator RSS Kuhlheim station. Afterwards a large part of the docking bays as well as the storage sector where closed for public use. RSS troop transport ships where seen docking at the station an an unusual high presence of security forces where blocking the access to all sections. Normal station business was not availible for hours. Several reporters tried to get information about the closure of such large parts of the station. The Officer in Command gave just the following statement: "This sector is closed - and will not be reopened soon - please move on - there is nothing special ...". Well if there wouldnt be something special it would be not of any use to place full armed officers everywhere... Inhabitants of the station where forced to return to their quarters and all offices and shops where closed. Till now it is not clear if this security breach is linked to the ship destruction which occoured several weeks ago. This ship was destroyed while gate activation of a pator jump gate. The remaining parts of the destruction where moved to this station for further investigation and stored at docking ramp VI-061. It seems something went wrong on the investigation but no further information are availiable yet.

During our weeks in the Militia, Gradient won the Militia Plexers' Prize three times. We have decided to use the prize money to provide to the friendly Militia free Rifters with complete fittings for complex work. These ships are ready and available in the warzone; kindly contact any member of the corporation if you wish to receive one. First come, first served, as long as isk remains.

The alliance has unfinished business with certain less respectable elements in the Militia. This will be taken care of regardless of the campaign ending.

Electus Matari is an alliance of independent corporations, loyal to the Minmatar Republic, and dedicated to her support and defense.

This current campaign started on 111/12/10 as a response to a large number of systems in Metropolis falling into enemy hands. At its start, nineteen Republic systems were occupied by hostile forces; at its end, none remain in Amarrian control. The campaign culminated in the end of the 382 days of Lantorn under Amarrian occupation.

Never again.

Police forces have investigated the loss of a ship at one of the Pator gates last week. According to the report the ship where destroyed when it where activating the gate. A high energy feedback loop have damaged the integrity of the antimatter reactors of the ship. According to scientists this loopback was assumed to be a theoretical case which can practically not happen. "The chance of such a loopback is esteminated with 1:100Million gate activations" and several security systems within the gate and the ship should prevent such event from happen. "In normal cases the ship reactor and/or even the full stargate would shut down - seemd fortuna had a bad day...".

One of the surveillance cameras took this live shot of the accident.

Different organisations and traders are worried about this accident. Thousands ships, pilots and crews are using such gates every day - the whole infrastructure of this universe relies on the stargate network. What will happen if its proved they are unstable and highly dangerous? The manufacturer of the stargate as well as different high rank scientists have promised to support the investigation and to improve the security of the technology used.

BREAKING NEWS: Dramatic Battle For Sovereignty In Y-2ANO PDF Print E-mail

BREAKING NEWS: Dramatic Battle For Sovereignty In Y-2ANO
reported by: ISD Najax Lergazin | 2010.01.03 19:59:36

Y-2ANO, Fountain - In the early hours of today, multiple titans were lost in a dramatic battle between the combined forces of Pandemic Legions, Goonswarm, Northern Coalition and other allies and capsuleers from IT Alliance.

During the battle, Pandemic Legion state that their fleet was disarrayed by a spatial distortion, reportedly causing the loss of at least 4 titans and several capital ships.

According to sources inside Pandemic Legion, the clash began when IT alliance attempted to seize Y-2ANO following a botched sovereignity transfer between the system's former holder - Sons Of Tangra - and Goonswarm alliance.

Preliminary reports indicate that IT Alliance pilots discretely onlined a Tactical Control Unit yesterday afternoon. After that, they set up several staging points and ammassed a fleet of over 600 ships to defend the unit. The fleet reportedly comprised several titans along with capital and support vessels.

Pandemic Legion and its allies rallied to storm the onlining TCU to prevent the system falling to IT Alliance. Pandemic Legion's fleet reportedly comprised 5 titans, several capital vessels and support, totaling around 700 units.

With so many massive vessels in close proximity, spatial distortion can ensue. Xodius Raldari, a titan pilot who flies under Pandemic Legion's banner, described how the fight was influenced by the distortion. "Most of our capitals [succesfully jumped into the system]... then a spatial distortion happened... there was no fight at all, apart from some few support and bombers we managed to kill."

Viper ShizzIe, CEO of Pandemic Legion corporation The Illuminati, added "Those who managed to jump out... still died... their hulls appearing where the cyno was lit hours later, unpiloted!"

AJ Regard, an IT Alliance pilot, confirmed that there were 3 titan wrecks on the field after the battle. "Locator agents have [searched for the pilots of] all 4 titans, showing their pilots now in stations. So, unless titans can now dock, there are 4 dead titans," he says.

The Y-2ANO battle is framed in the larger-scale conflict between IT Alliance, Pandemic Legion and Goonswarm. "Y-2ANO was rather important as it's close to Goonswarm's territory... We tried, we lost, [we] didn't want that titan anyways," Xodius Raldari ultimately says.

Due to the extremely chaotic situation following the clash, battle reports are still flowing from the region and the presented figures may change in the next hours. Interstellar Correspondents will monitor the situation and report as soon as further details are available.
